Hennie Meyer's first BLOCKS were exhibited as a visual diary of year’s making an installation consisting of more than 300 pieces in 2008. This installation expressed Hennie’s influence and fascination with multiples and was influenced by visits to the Terracotta Warriors in China and the Holocaust Memorial by American architect, Peter Eisenman in Berlin. Hennie continued making blocks as it provides a canvas for continuous expression, development and experimentation with techniques and glazes. Each one is one of a kind, unique, and a piece of contemporary ceramic art to grace your home. Stack them, hang them, tilt them - versatile artwork that draws your heart and mind into a visual meditation. 3.5"x 3.5" x 3.5"
